AN IMPORTANT LEGISLATIVE UPDATE FROM SENATOR RUNESTAD

House Bills 5120 through 5123 are draconian bills that would override local zoning authority in our communities and hand it over to the governor's appointed Public Service Commission, allowing the MPSC to slap down solar and wind farms wherever they please.

2. "Blackout Bills" - Senate Bills 271 - 277
Senator Jim Runestad warns of rolling blackouts if Senate Bills 271 through 277 are passed. Similar energy legislation had devastating consequences for California, and the resulting rate hikes will devastate Michigan families who are already struggling with high prices.
3. BILLS TO CRIMINALIZE SPEECH - HB 4476 and 4477
A bill to prevent discriminatory desecration could've been very good, but instead potentially criminalizes speech.
4. GIVING STATE ID'S TO ILLEGALS
